Counselling & Psychotherapy
Welcome
I am a UKCP registered psychotherapist and counsellor offering supportive, professional therapy to individuals and couples in Twickenham and online.
If you are feeling overwhelmed, stuck in unhelpful patterns, or struggling to navigate a difficult life transition, you don't have to face it alone. I can help by providing a calm, confidential space to explore what is troubling you.
I welcome clients from all ethnic, social and religious communities, age groups, sexual orientation and gender.
Who I work with
I support clients with a range of issues including:
Emotional Distress: I offer support for depression, anxiety and overwhelming stress
Life Transitions: I help clients to navigate bereavement, career changes, or loss of identity.
Low Self Esteem: I support clients struggling with low confidence and poor self image.
Trauma: I help clients to process traumatic events, heal from the past and build a more fulfilling present.
Relationship Therapy: I support clients to break cycles of conflict to build authentic connection
Specialised Support: I have a particular interest in supporting women through perimenopause and menopause, and working with neurodivergent individuals.
I am here to help
People seek therapy or counselling for lots of reasons. You might be asking yourself “Why do I feel so stuck?” or “How did I end up here again?” or “How can we stop the same old arguments?”
You may be feeling depressed or anxious; you may be feeling stressed by specific issues such as your job or your relationship; you may have suffered a bereavement or are struggling to come to terms with a change in your circumstances. Or you may just have a feeling that you are not living life as you’d like to and want to explore that.
Whatever your situation, I provide a non judgemental and supportive space to explore those feelings.
How I work: Thinking together
I provide a space to connect the past with the present, helping you move from feeling 'stuck' to living more authentically.
My approach to psychotherapy and counselling is integrative. This means I don't believe in a "one size fits all" solution. Instead, I draw together elements of different approaches to suit your unique situation and the difficulties you are facing.
Together, we will look at your present difficulties and explore how past experiences might be shaping your current world. This helps us to make sense of your struggles. We will then develop practical strategies to regulate the difficult emotions that come from these and reframe unhelpful beliefs in the present.
Whether we work together for a short-term period to address a specific crisis, or engage in long-term therapy for deeper healing, the goal remains the same: to ease your suffering, help you break old patterns and form more meaningful relationships with yourself and others.
The First Step
Deciding to start therapy is a significant step. I offer an initial consultation which gives us the opportunity to discuss what is bringing you to therapy and get a feel for how we might work together.
